What the short test covers

The short political test includes five statements for each of the twelve axes. It starts with Economy and continues through Welfare, Civil liberties, Democracy, Social change, Global relations, Conflict, Migration, Environment, Religion & state, Technology and Governance. Answer each statement on the five-point scale from strongly agree to strongly disagree. Neutral / unsure is available when the statement does not capture your view.

How long does it take?

The interface estimates about 10–15 minutes, but reading speed and the time you spend reflecting vary. There is no timer or penalty for taking longer. You can go back and revise an answer. Progress is kept in the current tab using browser session storage, so reloading normally preserves it when storage is available. Closing the tab or clearing browser data may remove it.

How does it differ from 288 questions?

The quick questions are a subset of the full bank. Five items give fewer opportunities to explore a topic than twenty-four. Both lengths use the same twelve labels and the same pole-balanced formula, but their scores need not match. A change between versions can reflect additional topics or different answers rather than a change in your politics. The longer form is not presented as a scientifically validated improvement.

Use your first result well

Read the descriptions beside each bar and pay attention to neutral responses. A midpoint can mean mixed opinions, uncertainty or a balance across statements. After the short version, choose one or two topics to explore before deciding whether to take the full test. The website does not assign a party affiliation or send your answer values to its quiz analytics events. GA and advertising still load as described in the privacy notice.
